Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a fixing device for a letterpress which can attach easily accurately a resin letterpress to a plate cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: A letterpress-nipping component 2 is preliminarily attached to both ends of a resin letterpress 1. One side letterpress-nipping component 2 is fitted to a hooker 4 of a plate cylinder 3, and the other side letterpress- nipping component 2 is fitted to a pulling part 5 of the plate cylinder. Then, tension is applied to the resin letterpress 1 with a pulling mechanism provided on the pulling part 5, and the resin letterpress 1 is fixed to a surface of the plate cylinder 3.
