Abstract:
To provide a fixing device capable of always keeping a thermistor clean and performing accurate temperature control by preventing residual toner from being led to the thermistor.
The toner which is not used for fixation and remains on a fixing roller 2 is scraped by a cleaning blade 20 and is not stuck to the thermistor 12. The toner scraped by the blade 20 is moved along the edge of the blade 20 corresponding to the rotation of the roller 2 by the inclination of the blade 20, and returned to the surface of the roller 2 at a position being out of the contact part of the thermistor 12 and removed by a web 5.
