Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing roller device of an improved structure to which a heat pipe principle is applied.
SOLUTION: The heat roller device comprises a fixing roller having a structure of a heat pipe for the purpose of fixing toners and instantaneously heats the surface of the fixing roller up to a fixing temperature by providing the inside of the heat pipe with a resistance heating element and/or halogen lamp. Such fixing roller device can more rapidly heat the surface of the fixing roller at the target fixing temperature by lower electric power consumption. More particularly there is no need for electric power supply to maintain a warm-up and standby state.
