Abstract:
To improve operability or workability when processing a workpiece by use of a portable processing machine and a long ruler.SOLUTION: A fixture fixing a long ruler to a workpiece to be used with a portable processing machine comprises: a main body which has a fixing mechanism to unlockably fix to the long ruler; a cam which is rotatably arranged to the main body centered on an axis of rotation between a fixing position to fix the long ruler to the workpiece and an unfixing position to unfix the long ruler from the workpiece; and an elastic member which is arranged to the main body capable of pressing, at least when the cam is at the fixing position, the workpiece by being directly or indirectly pressed from the cam surface of the cam so that the elastic member is elastically displaced in the opposite direction regarding the axis of rotation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
