To provide a flat heater for a snow-melting device, which has a surface plate generating heat by a heating means for supplying the quantity of heat for melting of snow, which has durability great enough to enable installation on a ground surface, so as to be capable of being easily maintained, which brings about a reduction in snow-melting time and energy saving by virtue of power saving by exerting snow-melting performance best suited to snowfall characteristics in a cold district, and which can facilitate installation work.
The flat heater 1 is constituted by supporting the surface plate 8, which generates the heat by the heating means 7 for supplying the quantity of the heat for the melting of the snow, by a reinforcing part 9 and a frame part 10. The surface plate 8 of the adjacent flat heater 1 is fixed to the frame part 10 from above by a fixing member 11 wherein a recess is provided in the center and wherein a plane part brought into contact with the surface plate 8 is inclined downward at an acute angle.
