Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional flexible disk device (hereinafter referred to as FDD) that an arm lifter for preventing a head from lowering by regulating the movement of the arm to an FD is constituted integrally with the holder, so that if the holder bends, the arm lifter moves in the FD direction and causes collision between the upper and lower face heads.
SOLUTION: The holder 1 is provided with an arm locking member 20. If the FD 9 is not inserted, the arm locking member 20 comes into contact with the arm 4, so that the upper face head 3a is prevented from moving towards the lower face head 3b.
