Abstract:

To provide an endoscope which prevents the front end thereof from contacting kidney tissues of patients.

A flexible examining instrument for ureteropyelos has a part for control and a shaft extended from the part for control. The shaft contains the front end with a first movable deflection part linked in series to a second movable deflection part. The part for control makes first and second deflection parts deflect independently. The first and second movable deflection parts can deflect and eliminates the need for letting the front end part of the shaft passively deflect to the kidney tissues of the patients for reaching the inferior lobe of the calix. Thus, the tip of the flexible examining instrument for ureteropyelos is arranged in the inferior lobe of the calix in the kidney.
