Abstract:
The panel is for separating in a controllably sealed manner the areas located on both sides of it, in particular for sealing landfills. The sealing panel (11) has in at least one plane (16) hollow channels (15) which run essentially in the longitudinal extent of the panel (11) and are separated from one another by channel walls. Once the sealing panel (11) has been laid, the hollow channels (15) make it possible to check for any leakage. Furthermore, by injecting appropriate sealing agents into the hollow channels (15) it is possible to carry out later repairs on defective sealing panels.
