Abstract:
To provide a deflecting plate joint for a railroad car equipped with a clutch device between intermediate joints as a means to disengage the mechanically tight coupling between a main motor and a gearing device.
The deflecting plate joint for the railroad car with the clutch device is structured so that clutch plates or gears are installed confronting between its intermediate joints, which are arranged capable of being joined together or separated from each other by driving rods installed on the intermediate joints using a solenoid actuator or an electromagnet.
