PURPOSE: To integrate a flexible printed wring board with a display element without spoiling the flexibility of the wiring board by coupling the wiring board with a flexible display element.
CONSTITUTION: A transparent substrate 3 is provided with a liquid crystal display element section A and printed wiring board section B and copper circuits 4 are formed in the section B as conductor circuits. The circuits 4 are formed by etching copper foil after the copper foil is stuck to the surface of the substrate 3. Then electrode circuits 5 are formed in the liquid crystal display element section A. The circuits 5 are formed through a resist applying, exposing, and developing processes after an ITO film, etc., is formed on the substrate 3 by a sputtering film forming means. A polymer/liquid crystal composite film is formed by application and the electrode circuits constituting facing electrodes are formed by sticking.
