CONSTITUTION: A floor carpet for automobiles consists of a laminate of a facial course fiber layer 1, a backing material 2 of thermoplastic resin attached to the rear side of the fiber layer 1, and a buffer member 3 laid under the backing material 2, which are laminated one over another in a fast structure. wherein the buffer material 3 at least consists of a complex layer felt including one high density layer 31 having a density over 0.4g/cm3 and one low density layer 32 having a density below 0.04 g/cm3, and the density ratio of the layer 31 to 32 is over 1.2.
