Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a device by driving two pieces of diskets by one disket driving motor. CONSTITUTION:A double spindle motor 15 is driven by a MOTOR-ON signal. Accordingly, both diskets 1a, 1b are driven. Subsequently, a track positioning motor 14 is driven by a DIRECTION SELECT.STEP signal and a supporting member 13 engaged to its rotary shaft 14a moves in the horizontal direction, by which heads 12a-12d move to a designated track position. Also, when a DRIVE/ HEAD SELECT signal is inputted to a floppy disk controlling circuit 21, a desired head is selected by a head switching circuit 22, and information led to a head recording and reproducing circuit 27 can be prevented and reproduced. In this way, two pieces of diskets can be driven by one disket driving motor, therefore, the constitution of a device is simplified, the device is made small- sized and the cost reduction can be realized.
