Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of component items of a fluid bearing and to improve its reliability.
SOLUTION: A housing 7 and a bearing sleeve 8 are fixed with each other by insert forming without any special fixing process. In the inside of the housing 7, the inside surface 7a1 of a sealing portion 7a and the upper end face 8b of the bearing sleeve 8, the inside surface 7b1 of a side portion 7b and the outer peripheral surface 8g of the bearing sleeve 8, and the inside bottom surface 7c1 of a bottom 7b and the lower side end face 8c and the chamfered portion 8f of the inner periphery lower end portion of the bearing sleeve 8, are brought into close contact with each other. Aperture ratio of the chamfered portion 8f of the bearing sleeve 8 is set to be larger than that of the inner peripheral surface 8a.
