PURPOSE: To raise the lubricity of lubricating oil, reduce frictional loss and damage, and prevent the occurrence of baking seizure, by adding a solid lubricating agent to a lubricating oil for a vane type fluid mechinery.
CONSTITUTION: A structure in which a plurality of slinding vanes 9 are provided in a slidable manner to a rotor 8 so as to press the inside circumferential surface 3a of a cylinder 3, and a refrigerating gas sucked up into a compression chamber 6 is compressed and discharged is provided for a multivane type compressor. In such a compressor, a solid lubricating agent is added to and dispersed into a lubricating oil. The solid lubricating agent used, e.g., graphite fluoride, tetrafluoroethylene resin, MoS2, WS2, graphite, mica, etc., preferably, having an average grain size of 0.01W2μ, is added in a proportion of 0.1W5pts.wt. to 100pts.wt. refrigerator oil. Thus, a frictional coefficient near that of the case with fluid lubrication can be obtained even when the surface roughness of the cylinder 3 is in an usual finishing accuraty and, therefore, wearing damage to the inside circumferential surface 3a of the cylinder 3 can be prevented.
