Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence correlation spectroscope that can accurately measure the correlation of materials without being influenced by an after-pulse of an avalanche photodiode.SOLUTION: A fluorescence correlation spectroscope 1 includes: a superconducting single photon detector 30 detecting change with time in intensity of fluorescent light 21 emitted from a material 15a of a sample 15; and a signal processor 50 processing an intensity signal representing the intensity of the fluorescent light 21 detected by the superconducting single photon detector 30, the signal processor 50 having a correlator 55 obtaining at least either one of an autocorrelation function and a cross-correlation function of the intensity signal of the fluorescent light 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
