Abstract:

To provide a fluorescent compound that has a large amount of change in fluorescence intensity, is highly capable of detecting moisture in a sample, and shows higher levels of detection limit and determination limit.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a fluorescent compound represented by the following formula (1) or the following formula (2); a fluorescent film containing the fluorescent compound; and a moisture detection method using the fluorescent compound. (In formula (1) and formula (2), R independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, A is a spacer, B is a fluorescent matrix selected from the group consisting of anthracene, pyrene, coumarin, BODIPY, and xanthene, at least a hydroxymethyl group is included as a substituent, and Z is a Lewis acid group selected from a specific group.)SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
