Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable fluorescence analyze a organism sample with high sensitivity using a small type device by forming fluorescent material precursor into fluorescent material soluble in a base through enzyme reaction, and exciting the fluorescent material through laser radiation of wave length of a specified formula so as to emit fluorescence.
CONSTITUTION: An antigen exhibiting a same immune reaction as the antigen of substance to be measured labeled with an enzyme having known concentration and the antigen of the substance to be measured are mutually mixed in, for instance, a competition method where the immune reaction is performed on the surface of optical fiber. In this solution the optical fiber, where the antibody of the immune substance is immobilized, is dipped so as to react competitively. Thereafter, the optical fiber is dipped in fluorescent material precursor solution so as to form fluorescent material precursor into fluorescent material through enzyme reaction. The fluorescent material is excited by laser radiation of wave length expressed with a formula (n, i represent natural number, n≥2) under a base condition. Thereby, it becomes possible to emit fluorescence having same wave length and about same intensity as the fluorescence emitted when the fluorescent material is excited by the laser radiation of about 300-600nm. Therefore it becomes possible to excite the fluorescent material with high efficiency and to provide a small type analysis device.
