Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the durability of an Al material after brazing by using a flux contg. fluorosilicate and zinc fluoride in specified ratios to the basic compsn. and further contg. aluminum fluoride in a prescribed ratio to the product.
CONSTITUTION: An Al material (substrate) 1 is brazed with a flux consisting of 99W93% basic compsn. and 1W7% aluminum fluoride. The basic compsn. consists of 30W90% potassium fluorosilicate and 70W10% zinc fluoride. A firm, durable Al material product is obtd. by brazing.
