Abstract:

PURPOSE: To guide an airplane to a flying target point without flying far from the flying target point by adjusting the radius of circling of the airplane by speed control and circling rate control to set an optimum flying route.

CONSTITUTION: When the airplane is guided to the flying target point, a radius R of circling is calculated in a flying route calculating device 23 by a flying speed V and a standard circling rate Q, and a flying route is set in accordance with this case, the flying route is simulated by the flying route goes far from the flying target point, the radius of circling of the airplane is adjusted by a speed and circling rate control system 27 having a speed control mechanism and a circling rate control mechanism to set an optimum flying route. In this case, the flying route is simulated by the flying route calculating device 23 in consideration of the motion performance limit and the safety of the machine body of the airplane. Thus, the flying route whose radius of circling is reduced is set in accordance with a calculated radius Ra of circling. The set flying route is sent to a guide flying control system 25.
