Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the foam suppressing agent compsn. having excellent dilution stability, property to retain defoaming and. high-temp. characteristic by mixing a polyoxyalkylene modified silicone oil, a foam suppressing agent component, a polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene copolymer and dimethyl silicone oil.
CONSTITUTION: This foam suppressing agent compsn. consists of 30 to 80wt.% polyoxyalkylene modified silicone oil expressed by formula I, 5 to 50wt.% foam suppressing agent component consisting of 100 pts.wt. aminoalkyl modified silicone oil of a straight chain type having 5000 to 500000 amine equiv. and 10 to 100000cs viscosity at 25°C and 1 to 40 pts.wt. fine powder silica, 5 to 50wt.% polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene copolymer having 500 to 3000mol.wt. range and 10 to 85mol% ethyleneoxy group and 2 to 20wt.% dimethyl silicone oil having 10 to 500cs viscosity at 25°C and blocked at both terminals of the molecular chain by monohydroxydimethylsilyl groups.
