Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a simple structure mechanism, by reading information corresponding to a focal length on a basis of the contact position between a sliding conductive terminal for contact and an electric member for contact to be slided and comparing this information with already stored focal length information and stopping a driving motor when they coincide with each other.

CONSTITUTION: The first lens group 2 as the front group moved in the direction of the optical axis by a driving motor 14 and the second lens group 3 as the rear group moved forward and backward in the direction of the optical axis by the zooming operation are provided. Further, an electric member 18 for contact to be slided which is moved while interlocking with one of the first and the second lens groups 2 and 3, a sliding conductive terminal 35a for contact which is interlocked with the other to move while being brought into contact with the electric member 18, and a control circuit 55 which reads information corresponding to a focal length on a basis of the contact position between the conductive terminal 35a and the electric member 18 and compares this information with already stored focal length information and stops the rotation of the driving motor 14 when they coincide with each other are provided.
