Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform standing-up and sitting-down actions without the attendance of an attendant or while attaining the reduction of attendance degree of the attendant by arranging a folding chair at the base spot of a state change in standing-up and sitting-down actions under the environment of a life for the physically handicapped or the aged person.
SOLUTION: This chair is attached on the surface of a wall so as to be folded. In that case, the chair is composed of a pair of breadthwise supporters 2 fixed on a wall surface W and a seat plate 3 provided between the respective supporters 2. The seat plate 3 is supported so as to be freely turned around a horizontal axis between an upright attitude housed between the supporters and a horizontal attitude pulled out of between the supporters 2, and the respective supporters 2 have through holes 24 through a handrail 5 arranged on the wall surface W at their upper parts.
