Abstract:
To provide a compactly folding method and a (compactly) folded product of a three-dimensionally sewn product for a tent structure which reduce the occurrence and accumulation of curls and creases and chalk marks (white scratches) in a membrane structure facility using a tarpaulin sewn product with a fluorine resin layer on the surface thereof, especially in a temporary tent structure where assembly and disassembly are repeated.SOLUTION: When a three-dimensionally sewn product with a sheet having a fluorine resin layer on one surface is folded, the folding is performed by the steps of: 1) reversing the front and back of the three-dimensionally sewn product to turn the fluorine resin layer inside; 2) flattening and folding the three-dimensionally sewn product; 3) folding the product to have a cross sectional shape in any of a V-, N-, N-deformed, W-, W-deformed, or zig-zag shape approximately parallel to the length direction or width direction of the three-dimensionally sewn product that is flattened and folded; and 4) folding the product to have a cross sectional shape in any of a V-, N-, N-deformed, W-, W-deformed, zig-zag shape, and spiral shape to the length direction of the three-dimensionally sewn product that is folded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
