Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the detection of the position of food received in a chamber.
SOLUTION: Antennas 18a-18n are buried and arranged in the rear surface of insulating material and rack plate of the side wall of a refrigerator main body 1 to communicate with the wireless tags in foods received in respective room units of a refrigerating chamber, a vegetable chamber, a switching chamber or a freezing chamber. A control device 24 detects the position of a feed by specifying a food information received by a reader 25 and an antenna receiving the food information, and indicates the position in an indicating device 7a. Stocked food is indicated in the indicating device 7a as an stock information at every times and, further, a list of foods existing in the chambers can be indicated as the stock information in accordance with a request. The stock information can be recognized without opening any door of the refrigerator whereby wasteful temperature increase can be prevented and efficient cooling can be effected.
