PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food product capable of feeling cold sensation in the mouth upon repast, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a food product imparted with cold sensation, containing a food product and a cold sensation imparting agent for a food product including tricaprin as an effective component, and also provided is a method for producing a food product imparted with cold sensation, comprising a step in such a manner that the content of the tricaprin reaches 0.1 to 99 mass% to the mass of the food product. The food product is selected from the group consisting of cakes, breads, cookies, fish jelly products, chocolates, powder chocolates and creams.SELECTED DRAWING: None
