Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the title compsn. comprising specific components such as water, cold pressed citrus oil, an alkali metal carbonate (bicarbonate), a specific emulsifier-surfactant system and the like and useful for cleaning food or the contact surface with food because of non-toxity.

CONSTITUTION: The objective compsn. consists of water (A), cold pressed citrus oil (pref. lemon oil) (B), a sufficient amt. of an alkali metal carbonate and/or bicarbonate (pref. sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate) holding the compsn. to pH 7.5-11 (C), an emulsifier-surfactant system (D) consisting of polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid monoester (i), ethoxylated mono or diglyceride (ii), tartaric acid ester of mono or diglyceride (iii) and sodium lauryl sulfate (iv), ethanol (E) and a small amt. of propylene glycol (F). As the component (iii), diacetyl tartaric acid ester of monoglyceride is pref.
