Title:
FOODSTUFFS STORAGE CONTAINER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0257580
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To inhibit the activation of enzyme and germ or the like, preserve the foodstuffs from decay, and enable the long-term maintenance of the freshness intrinsic to the foodstuffs by having ceramics radiating far infrared within the specified range of the wave comprised of a mixture which is made by adding specified weight % ceramics to plastics.

CONSTITUTION: A foodstuffs storage container is made of a mixture which is made by adding to plastics 1-30% weight ceramics (bioceramics) radiating far infrared with the wavelength of 8 μ-14 μm. This makes the foodstuffs storage container to radiate the far infrared with the wavelength of 8 μ-14 μm and said far infrared includes the wavelength of the molecule movement intrinsic to foodstuffs such as meat, vegetables, fish, fruits, etc., and is absorbed therein being resonated together with the molecule movement intrinsic to the substance. Since the molecule movement intrinsic to the foodstuffs is kept continuing by this molecule movement, the condition intrinsic to the foodstuffs can be maintained and the freshness thereof is thus maintained for a long period of time.
