To provide a foot-driven wheelchair which can ascend a slope and can be driven by both legs or one leg.
The foot-driven wheelchair includes two right and left one-way clutches 50 transmitting driving force to the axles 18 only when output shafts 50b are connected to the axles 18 of two right and left rear wheels 13 and input shafts 50a are driven in the direction of travel of a wheelchair 10, a connecting member 60 connecting the input shafts 50a of two right and left one-way clutches 50, and a cord member 35 at least partially wound around the periphery side of the input shaft 50a of one of the one-way clutches 50, a traction means 30 to pull one end side of the cord member 35 with respect to the central portion in the direction separating from the input shafts 50a, and a restraining means 36 to restrain the other end side of the cord member 35 with respect to the central portion from moving in the direction of the input shafts 50a by traction by the traction means 30.
