Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unspring weight and efficiently arrange an engine and respective footrests with a proper positional relationship without increasing the height of the whole seat. SOLUTION: In the scooter-type vehicle, a low main footrest 3 is provided between a handle 1 and a seat 2, an engine 4 is fixed to a body frame and arranged near the main footrest 3, a rear wheel 10 is supported on the rear end of a rear arm 8 so provided as to be vertically oscillated with respect to a pivot shaft on the front end, and the seat 2 is provided with a front main seat 2b and a one step higher rear tandem seat 2c. A tandem footrest member 81 for a fellow passenger seated on the tandem seat 2c is provided behind the main footrest 3, the tandem footrest member 81 is provided in the position higher than the main footrest 3 for a driver seated on the main seat 2b, and a crank case of the engine 4 is arranged in a lower space of the tandem footrest member 81.
