Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a midsole having three-dimensional meshes which are constituted from interconnected unit cells arranged with a deformed cubic grid structure, and also to provide a method of forming the midsole.SOLUTION: Variation is allowed for the purpose of providing each zone or part of a midsole 300 with customized characteristics. A plurality of interconnected unit cells 322 may be organized in a deformed cubic grid structure. The size/shape of the deformed cubic grid structure and the interconnected unit cells 322 may be varied so as to provide each zone or part of the midsole 300 with customized characteristics. The three dimensional meshes 320 may be customized on the basis of biological metrological data profile for individuals or individual groups. The midsole 300 may be manufactured using an additive manufacturing method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
