Abstract:
To provide a foreign matter separation and removal device for compressed air which causes compressed air to pass through a filter or the like for separating and removing a foreign matter after removing drain in compressed air.SOLUTION: A foreign matter separation and removal device comprises: a hollow cylinder body 5 comprising a cylindrical body which has a hollow part 18a and of which upper and lower parts are opened; a lower separation tank 4 that is equipped with an introduction port 12 for introducing compressed air to a side face specified location via a socket 13 and a drain discharge port 11 at an undersurface specified location, and that can block a lower opening end of the hollow cylinder body; and a lid body 3 which is equipped with an exhaust port 15 at a specified location, and can block an upper opening end of the hollow cylinder body. An oil/dust adsorbent and active carbon are filled in the hollow part of the hollow cylinder body in the state of being alternately laminated, and a drain separation device 7 of a cyclone system for separating and removing drain from inflow compressed air is built in the lower separation tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
