PURPOSE: To burn very well a polymer waste by pulverizing said waste, forming pillaret-shape granules, making many cracks on the surface and in the internal part of the granule, and having a large contact surface with air in combustion.

CONSTITUTION: A polymer waste such as polyethylene is charged to a pulverizer 1, and pulverized between a revolving hammer 5 and a grid 6. The pulverized material is charged to a kneader mixer 9 and stirred by a stirrer 11 after water contg. a binder is added. The kneaded material is charged to a preheater 3 and heated from the outside during it is transported by a screw 16. The preheated material is charged to a granulator 4 and pressed by a screw 23, heated by a heat source 29 while it is transported, extruded to the outside through a sieve plate 27 and cut by a cutter 26 to form pillaret-shape granules having a several mmdiameter and a several mm length. On the surface and in the internal part of the granule, many cracks are generated, so they burn very well due to the large contact surface with air at time of combustion.
