Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the work for inserting the cable end, at the time of jointing a cable of high voltage transmission line, by using an assembling unit for a reinforcing insulator disposed at the joint of cable conductor.
SOLUTION: An assembling unit 20 is arranged with cable supporting members 30, 40 and an insulator supporting member 21 in order to support cables 1, 1a and a reinforcing insulator 11 disposed at a joint. Cable holding members 36, 46 being arranged for respective supporting members and a fixed member 25 for holding the insulator are constructed to move in the longitudinal and lateral directions. One cable 1a and the reinforcing insulator are assembled and then the other cable 1 and the reinforcing insulator are assembled so that connection and fixing of conductor can be carried out in the through hole of reinforcing insulator.
