Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remove excess material for a protective film which deposits on the outer peripheral surface and edges of a magnetic disk recording medium when the protective film is formed.
CONSTITUTION: When a protective film is formed by spin coating by injecting the material for the protective film from an injection nozzle for the protective film material to form a magnetic disk recording medium 1, the excess material is removed by dissolving the material with a dissolving liquid injected from a nozzle 4 for a liquid to remove the protective film material on the outermost area.
