PURPOSE: To restrain the generation of powdered dust and improve working efficiency by making material handling after receiving the material continuous, automatic and airtight.
CONSTITUTION: A material for irregular refractory is received into the specified address of a container warehouse 4 by a transfer device 6 under a condition that the material is sealed in a container 2 based on a command from a microcomputer 38. The transfer device 6 takes a predetermined container 2 out based on a material charging command from the microcomputer 38 and transfers the container 2 to a sealed type receiving table 10. Subsequently, the sealed type receiving table 10, accommodating a load cell, a seal opening device 12 and a sealed conveyer 14 are operated in conjunction with each other whereby predetermined material, metered by the load cell, is thrown into a kneading device 16 while proper amount of water is added from a water tank 20. The kneaded material is poured into a section to be lined through a traversing chute 24 and is made uniform by means of a shaking device 36. The height of the poured form body 32 is measured by a height measuring device 34 and the measured value is inputted into the microcomputer 38.
