PURPOSE: To shorten the period of construction by a method in which a column- constructing formwork consisting of a cylindrical base and four struts is raised on the basis of an existing part of column by means of a drive mechanism and set on a concrete-placing position.
CONSTITUTION: A column-constructing formwork 1 is made up of a cylindrical formwork base 10 defining the cross section of a column and a framed strut 20 consisting of four guide rods 21 to support the base 10 in an axially sliding manner. The strut 20 is strongly fixed to an existing part of column 2 by means of a clamp band 23 provided to the lower end of the strut 20. Opening and closing sheathing boards 13A and 13B and a fixed sheathing board 11 are provided to the base 10 vertically divided into two sections, and a clamp band 16 and an expandible jack 30 are provided to the lower ends of the boards. The base 10 and the strut 20 are relatively slid by the expanding and contracting action. The formwork can thus be automatically set on a desired place.
