Abstract:
To provide a four-axis differential module that is able to achieve miniaturization and energy saving.SOLUTION: A four-axis differential module 100 includes two pairs of rotary drive units 120, a pair of helical mechanisms 110, and a differential mechanism 130. Each helical mechanism 110 has: a pair of helical gears 111 which are individually rotated as each of the pairs of rotary drive units 120 rotates and are different in twisting direction; and two-cut helical gears 113 which is engaged with each of the pair of helical gears 111. The differential mechanism 130 has: a pair of first bevel gears 131 each of which rotates individually as the two-cut helical gear 113 of each of the pair of helical mechanisms 110 rotates, rotation shafts of which are arranged on the same straight line, and which are equal in the number of gears; and a second bevel gear 133 which is engaged with the pair of first bevel gears 131 and rotation shaft of which is orthogonal to rotation shafts of the first bevel gears 131.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
