To provide a frame for assisting attachment of a ventilator by which the ventilator can be replaced with a new ventilator with good workability and beautifully, using the former wood frame as it is.
This is an attachment assisting frame 11 to a ventilator 2 which screws and attaches the attachment flange 4 constituted as the bottom of a body shell 5 and jutting out to the attachment face being the bottom of a wood frame 9 such as furring strip or the like constituted at a ceiling, and the frame body is constituted of a fixing face 14 which is provided with a plurality of screw passage holes 12 applicable to the attachment face of the wood frame 9, and a ceiling plate retaining part 16 which extends in parallel with the ceiling face at a step 15 equivalent to the thickness of the ceiling plate 8 outside the wood frame 9 attachment face of the fixing face 14.
