Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the strength of lower tubes without causing the weight increase of the whole body and obtain an excellent riding position and maneuvering stability by forming the lower tubes in larger dimensions than upper tubes.
SOLUTION: A pair of lower tubes 5a, 5b are provided below upper tubes 3a, 3b in such a way as to be almost parallel to the upper tubes 3a, 3b from the side view. Each of the lower tubes 5a, 5b is composed of a front lower tube 51 with its front end part connected to a head pipe 2, a rear lower tube 54 integrally formed at a front suspension part welded to the lower face part and a rear suspension part 53 welded to the rear end part, and a connecting pipe. The upper tubes 3a, 3b and lower tubes 5a, 5b are formed in cylindrical shape. The front lower tube 51 is formed in larger dimensions than the outer diameter dimension of the upper tube 3a, and the front lower tube 51 is formed in smaller dimensions than the rear lower tube 54.
