Abstract:

To manage the appreciation limit time of the food at the time of a round at the time of carrying the food round and selling it.

A plate provided with a non-contact/non-battery type data carrier capable of reading and writing information is used, and at the time of housing the food on the plate, feeding it on a round carrying path and providing a customer with it, an antenna 7 shared by read/write of the information is arranged facing a round carrying path 4. When the plate 1' housing the food is passed through the arranging point of an antenna 7 for the first time, the appreciation limit time for which the passing time and the freshness maintainable residence time of the food set beforehand are added is written in the storage part of the data carrier of the plate 1'. Then, the appreciation limit time is read by the antenna 7 every time of passing through the arranging point of the antenna 7 for the second and succeeding times and compared with the present time. When the present time is before the appreciation limit time, it is carried as it is and provided for the customer. On the other hand, when the present time is after the appreciation limit time, the plate 1' is recovered by the notification signal.
