Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the stick-slip phenomenon caused by dispersion of the coefficient of friction or fine fluctuation as well as to improve durability of mating plates and friction plates.
CONSTITUTION: In a friction clutch provided with friction plates 9 provided one side of the driving side or the driven side and mating plates 8 provided on the other side of the driving side or the driven side, and for transmitting power from the driving side to the driven side by bringing the friction plate 9 and the mating plate 8 in pressure-contact with each other, the engaging surfaces of the mating plates 8 with the friction plates 9, to which the chrome plating treatment is applied are covered with organic silicon compounds having the siloxane bonding.
