Title:
FRICTION JOINING STRUCTURE OF GALVANIZED STEEL MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5684186
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase a finishing coefficients higher than those of blasted surface and improve joints strength by point-hammering at least one surface in roughing the galvanized surfaces mutually and frictinally joining these.

CONSTITUTION: The surface B of one of the galvanized steel materials to be frictionally joined is tapped with the pointed ends of tapping bars and is thereby dented. The other surface A to be joined with this is similarly tapped or blasted. Here, the tapped surfaces are provided with dents of 50W100pcs/cm2 by steel-made tapping bars with acute-angled ends of Hv=350W450 Vickers hardness and 1W4mm outside diameters and these are joined by means of high tensile bolts.
