Abstract:
To provide a frictional force imparting device for a reciprocating shaft, producing effective vibration damping force with frictional force for a long period.
In proximity to an oil seal 1 for sealing between a cylindrical body 101 and the reciprocating shaft inserted into the inner periphery thereof via a rod guide 103 in an axially movable manner, a synthetic resin lip 2 is arranged which is formed of a fluorocarbon resin such as PTFE with an inner peripheral portion 2b slidable with the outer peripheral face of the reciprocating shaft 104 with required tightening force. It is fixed at its outer peripheral portion 2a to the rod guide 103.
