Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front and rear wheel torque distribution controller for a four wheel drive vehicle capable of ensuring lock mode performance and preventing the generation of abnormal noises when a lock mode is selected simultaneously.
SOLUTION: In the four wheel drive vehicle having an electronic control clutch controlling the distribution of torque transmitted to front and rear wheels, a stop time control means releasing the electronic control clutch when a detected vehicle speed is less than a stop judgement vehicle speed at which it is judged that the vehicle is in a stop condition while lock mode is selected is provided.
