The front rotary tiller 1 performs the tilling work by rotating tilling tines 7 radially planted on a tine shaft 5 of the front tilling part 4. Side disk members 9 for thrusting the tine 7 into the soil are attached to both sides of the tine shaft 5 of the tilling part 4. A tilling depth controlling plate 10 having a raking angle in the rotating direction is attached to a side face of the side disk member 9.
