Abstract:
To provide a front vehicle body structure for a vehicle capable of shortening a front overhang while achieving collisional performance and wight reduction simultaneously, and enhancing steering stability by improving suspension cross rigidity and suspension support rigidity.
The structure has a dash panel 3 serving as a partition between an engine room 1 and a car room 2, a front frame 16 in front of the panel 3, and a suspension cross member 10 supporting a suspension suspending front wheels in the lower part of the front frame 16. The suspension cross member 10 is extended to the front part of a power train 8 in the engine room, and the extended tip part is connected to the front frame 16.
