Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable steering without need for changing holding of steering wheel by increasing the steering angle of a front wheel interlocked with the steering wheel operation, accelerationwise, with respect to the increase of steering angle. CONSTITUTION:A pinion 19 is mounted at the lower end of a steering shaft 18 having a handle 17 at its upper end. This pinion 19 meshes with a gear 21 supported on a vehicle body frame side by a gear shaft 20. The gear ratio between this pinion 19 and the gear is set for example 1:3. A turning arm 22 is set at the gear 21, and the rotation of the arm 22 displaces the interlocked shaft 12 of front steered wheel mechanism in the axial direction through a trapezoidal link 24. This link 24 is composed of a pair of swinging links 25, 26 pivotally mounted on the vehicle body frame side by fixed fulcrums at their lower ends, a movable link 30 in the form of approximate T shape pivotally mounted at the turning ends of the links 25, 26.
