Abstract:
To provide a lightweight heat-insulating building material which has very excellent frost damage resistance and is inexpensive.
This building material is produced by forming a raw material mixture comprising a glass powder, a foaming agent, a crystallization inhibitor and a frost damage inhibitor into a green body and firing the green body to obtain a foamed fired body.
