Abstract:

To provide a fuel cell system for supplying stably electric power or a current just after started up, and a control method therefor.

This fuel cell system includes a fuel cell body for generating electric power by supplying fuel, and for supplying the generated electric power or current to a load, a charge accumulating element used as an internal electric power source, and for supplying electric power or a current to the load, when started up, the first detecting part for detecting total of electric power values or current values supplied from the charge accumulating element and the fuel cell body to the load, and the first control part for controlling the electric power or current value supplied from the charge accumulating element to the load, to bring the electric power value or current value detected by the first detecting part, into the first value.
