Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which, by detecting cross connections in heat exchange means, can prevent an abnormal operating state from continuing.SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises: a fuel cell 1; a hot water tank 6 which stores therein storage hot water necessary to recover the exhaust heat associated with power generation by the fuel cell; a heat exchanger 5 which exchanges heat between the storage hot water from the hot water tank and a fluid of the exhaust heat medium; a water tank 2 which stores therein water in the fluid of the exhaust heat medium which has had its heat exchanged with the storage hot water in the heat exchanger; water level sensors 9 and 12 which detect a water level in the water tank; an abnormality alarm 13a which notifies occurrence of abnormality on the basis of the water level detected by the water level sensors; and a control device 13. When an abnormal change of water level in the water tank is detected by the water level sensors, the control device lets the abnormality alarm notify the occurrence of abnormality.
